Our Origin
ATWAS, nestled in the heart of the Revival festival in Utah, began as a vibrant activity for supporters and advocates of TRUCE, a pivotal nonprofit in the journey of medical cannabis in Utah. Our roots are deep in advocacy, education, and transformation. When TRUCE closed its doors, ATWAS emerged, evolving from its initial purpose to embrace new chapters in plant medicine and community building.
Our Purpose
We exist to provide a space for exploration, expression, and connection. ATWAS is more than just a camp; it’s a microcosm of life itself, celebrating each stage of human existence. We embrace the wisdom of the old, the energy of the young, and the stories of everyone in between. Our activities, discussions, and shared experiences are designed to foster a deep sense of community and personal transformation.
ATWAS Camp Ethos
Inclusivity: At the heart of ATWAS lies a deep commitment to inclusivity. We open our arms to individuals from every walk of life, cherishing the rich tapestry of backgrounds and experiences. Here, each unique perspective is not just acknowledged but celebrated, creating a vibrant and respectful community where everyone feels valued.
Growth and Transformation: Our camp is a catalyst for personal evolution. Through a myriad of workshops, activities, and soul-stirring experiences, we offer pathways for growth, healing, and self-discovery. We embrace all stages of life, inviting each individual to embark on a journey of transformation.
Connection and Community: ATWAS is a crucible for forging meaningful connections. We nurture open communication and collaborative spirits, recognizing that shared experiences and collective wisdom are the bedrocks of a supportive and empowering community.
Creativity and Self-Expression: Our space is a sanctuary for the creative soul. Here, you are encouraged to unfurl your artistic wings, share your unique talents, and express yourself without bounds. We celebrate creativity, fueling innovation and imagination in a safe and nurturing environment.
Empathy and Compassion: At our core is a culture of empathy and compassion. We journey together, acknowledging our shared human experience, and offer understanding and support to each other in our individual quests.
Mindfulness and Presence: We advocate for a life lived in the present. Our activities are designed to cultivate mindfulness and awareness, deepening connections to oneself and the surrounding world, and enhancing the richness of each moment.
Sustainability and Responsibility: Conscious of our footprint, we strive for sustainability in our practices. We encourage personal responsibility and accountability, fostering a community that cares for the environment as much as for each other.
Our Vision: ATWAS TRUCE Theme Camp is more than just a gathering; it’s a celebration of life, a journey of connection, creativity, and growth. We aim to create a transformative experience that resonates with the human spirit, enriching and enlightening every participant.
